Speaking exclusively to Coinslot, sales and marketing manager John A Stergides gave a preview of the vast selection of machines set to wow attendees, as well as his reflections on the year so far, and what lies ahead.
“As we will be hosting the Park Avenue Open Day, we have the luxury of being able to display a big part of our portfolio of top games,” said Stergides.
“With the wide range of games available, we have something to offer for any sized space or audience and will keep optimistic for the rest of the year.”
In ticket redemption, one key product on display will be the Bar-X Diamond Tickets, a classic three-player edition of the popular brand that only pays out tickets, which has become a star performer in FECs for its community feature.
Also out on show will be the Hoops Mania 2 pusher, a closed loop ticket pusher where players aim and shoot coins into the moving basket, while bigger rewards are waiting if they trigger the bonus wheel. Hoops Mania also releases cards with ticket value which can be redeemed in the machine itself. If all seven different cards are collected, a super bonus can be triggered.

“We will be showing the Spinning Cyclone, which for the space and price is very popular with operators and players. Its exciting lights and sounds and guarantee of a win every game means players are kept entertained as the tickers build up. It becomes very popular with regulars. We will also be dis playing Mr Do Space Rocks 2 ball pusher and debuting a new ticket cycle game for the younger audiences.”
Prize games will also be a large part of the show, and on display will be the brand new Big Wheel, as well as Magic 7 Key, Magic Ocean, Rocket Launch, and Prize Catcher crane, alongside the latest Skill Cut Special, which offers a full front glass for dis playing the prizes, while retaining the original foundation that made the Skill Cut Winner so popular.
The Funtime Double Crane, with its attractive and customisable LED top , will also be out on view. One unique feature of the cabinet is its integrated camera, meaning players can be seen on the top monitor as they play the game.

“Away from the machines, we will also be showing the full range of Galileo redemption products, the best ticket eaters on the market, along with their in-depth Prize Shop point of sale system. The Intercard Cash less system will also be on display for operators looking to go cashless, or a com bination of cash and card, as many start allows operators and industry stakeholders to catch up and discuss the latest news in the sector, with Stergides highlighting a number of potential conversation points at this year’s show.
“It’s been a real mix of up and down this year as operators (and generally most businesses) wanted to see the actual outcome of the new changes to taxes etc implemented by the government. We don’t think it instilled any confidence for businesses or even the general public.”
“However, some operators have had some decent months, whilst others mentioned Easter was a bit flat towards the end. Hopefully the weather will be on our side for the summer season as we start to have a final push before the peak season, and hopefully the changes for Cat D and even a review of stakes and prizes for Cat C will be sooner than later.”
“We hope the Park Avenue Open Day will be successful and we are able to at least match if not exceed the donations raised from previous years as they are donated to good causes via the Bacta Charitable Trust.”
